The beauty of a private yacht charter is that you have complete control of the daily activities and in consultation with the captain you can plan your own itinerary. Whether you want to cruise to a new Island, enjoying a spot of fishing or diving along the way, or stay in a beautiful anchorage relaxing from the yacht; the choice is yours and you can discuss the options with the captain each morning over breakfast.

Talking of which, the food on board is excellent. Whether you like spicy dishes or have a weakness for chocolate desserts, your personal chef will prepare a delectable menu tailor made to your specific requirements and requests. Many of the chefs are culinary trained or have restaurant experience and are able to cater to specific diets i.e. Gluten Free, Vegan…they can even prepare a special children’s menu!

There is a wonderful range of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy, both on the water as well as on shore such as, snorkeling, kayaking, SUP, water-skiing or scuba diving. Many of the Islands offer hiking in tropical rainforest, interesting historical sites, designer shopping or luxury spa’s. There are plenty of learning experiences for children or adults, from sailing classes to historical tours ashore.

The knowledable crew will guide snorkelling tours which is an excellent opportunity for children to discover the underwater world whilst gaining confidence in the water.

There’s a wide selection of luxury yachts available for charter in the Caribbean – motor yachts, sailing catamarans, sailing mono-hulls and power catamarans. If you are new to chartering how do you know which is best for you?

The yacht’s crew are super important in making your trip a success. That’s why we spend weeks at yacht shows finding out not only the type of service each crew offer but also getting to know them personally. Some crew are best suited to families with young children, others are perfect for groups who want to party! Certain yachts offer a very formal service and others offer a home-from-home relaxed environment.

After an initial consultation we will send through a selection of recommended yachts which we believe are best suited to your group. From there you can take time to review the crew profiles, accommodations and amenities to see which you think would be the best fit. If the selection is not quite right then we will continue to present yachts until we find the perfect match in terms of crew, style, size and budget.

Monohull Sailing Yachts

Mono-hull sailing yachts offer a classic sailing experience. Feel the true power of the wind as the yacht heels over when sailing, providing an exciting and exhilarating sailing experience. Mono-hulls are very responsive to the wind, and so perfect for those wishing to learn to sail or increase their sailing knowledge, many of the captains are happy to provide tuition on board or let guests take the helm. Typically at more affordable price, mono-hulls are often popular with honeymoon or anniversary charters.

Motor Yachts

Motor yachts are renowned for glamour and opulence! They offer a high level of service, luxurious amenities, spacious cabins, formal dining options and an increased number of crew to provide a seamless charter experience. The powerful engines allow guests to explore a wide range of Islands at speed and they come equipped with all the amenities and facilities of a five star resort. Starting at around $30,000 per week motor yachts tend to be more expensive than sailing yachts, and rates are generally “Plus Expenses” which means all food, drinks, fuel, cruising fees & taxes are at additional cost. Normally an additional 35% APA (advance provisioning allowance) is required to cover these costs.

Sailing Catamarans

Sailing catamarans are popular with those wishing to combine the pleasure of sailing with a stable and flat platform from which to explore the islands. Catamarans appeal to a broad range of travelers including non-sailors or those new to chartering, families travelling with young children and corporate charter groups. The wide beam from the twin hulls give an excellent amount of living space for the length of yacht plus easy maneuverability around the decks. Catamarans very often have equal cabins with en-suites, so are a great choice for families, groups of couples or corporate charters.

Power Catamarans

Power catamarans are relatively new to the charter market, and are becoming increasingly popular for those who wish to enjoy the platform of a stable twin hulled vessel, with the flexibility of cruising at speed. Many are designed with the charter client in mind and are finished very elegantly, are high-tech and equipped with luxuries you would find on a motor yacht. Some are suited to families whilst other power cats are geared towards three or four couples looking for stability, lots of space, and a touch of glamour.
